Fire Doors and Compartmentation
Adequate fire stopping and compartmentalisation are vital components in slowing down and containing the spread of fire within a building. At Novopro Services, we work in conjunction with an affiliated fire assessor to provide and upgrade buildings and blocks as appropriate to bring them up to the best standard possible to achieve this.
Sash Windows
We offer a complete sash window service ranging from replacement cords, freeing-off, general maintenance & decorating, through to upgrading glazing, adding draft seals and replacing units and sashes where required. We have an affiliated joinery shop we work with based in Dorset, and are generally able to replicate existing units to satisfy conservation requirements.
Roofing, Roofline & Windows
A full spectrum of roofing services are offered, as well as remedial work on roof timbers, and the inclusion of Velux and Dormer windows. We are also happy to offer UPVC soffit and fascia work, as well as general repairs, re-pointing, , guttering etc.
Internal & External Decorating
We have many years of experience of undertaking both internal and external decorating, with an emphasis on Commercial work and Internal/ External work on blocks and large buildings. We aim to provide a really excellent traditional service and are ideally equipped to ensure that repairs and preparation work and done well, to make sure we provide a quality and lasting product. No ‘Splash and Dash’ at Novopro!
Kitchens & Bathrooms
Following an initial consultation, we can provide a complete installation service for kitchens and bathrooms. We work with several suppliers, so installations can be either ‘off the peg’, or completely bespoke, or a mixture of the two. We are fortunate to have several team members with workshop experience, who can produce custom cabinetry either on or off site, and can also provide spraying services, again either on or off site.
Shopfitting
Working with clients and designers, we work hard to turn vision into reality. We offer all services in-house, from flooring, lighting, building work, decorating & custom units, with complete project management.

01Fire doors
Fire door maintenance is a vital part of building safety. Fire doors are an important part of a building's fire safety system and must be kept in good condition in order to function correctly in an emergency. Fire door maintenance should be conducted regularly to ensure that the doors are operational and meet the required standards. This includes inspecting the door, checking the door hardware, making sure the door is properly sealed, and testing the door to ensure that it opens and closes properly.
It is also important to perform regular maintenance to the door frames and other components of the fire door system. Regular maintenance is necessary to ensure that the door remains in good working condition and is able to protect the occupants of the building during a fire.
02Fire stopping
Regular plasterboard is a type of wallboard used to construct walls and ceilings. It is made from a combination of gypsum and paper and is a cost-effective and lightweight material.
Fireboard, on the other hand, is a type of plasterboard specifically designed to provide improved fire protection. It is made from a combination of gypsum and glass fibre and should be used in vulnerable locations instead of regular plasterboard. Fireboard can provide up to four hours of fire protection and is therefore ideal for use in areas where fire safety is a concern. It is also more resistant to moisture and more durable than regular plasterboard.
